Rouzbeh (Rouz) Soleymani

Rouz Soleymani is an associate in Stradling’s Corporate and Securities practice group. Rouz counsels companies and investors on general corporate matters, with an emphasis on emerging company needs, venture capital financings, institutional investments, taxation of commercial transactions, as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to Stradling, Rouz was an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC). At PwC, Rouz assisted with structuring strategic cross-border and multi-jurisdictional deals, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures as well as participated in domestic and international tax compliance projects for U.S. inbound and outbound transactions.

 

Prior to law school, Rouz attended the University of California, Irvine Paul Merage School of Business as a Regents Scholar and obtained a bachelor’s degree in finance. He graduated summa cum laude and received the UC Irvine Chancellor’s Award of Distinction in recognition of exceptional academic achievement as an undergraduate student. At Merage, Rouz was a founding member of the UC Irvine Entrepreneurship Association and assisted emerging companies with various needs. Committed to serving the community, Rouz is currently an Executive Board Member of the Dean’s Leadership Circle at UCI’s Paul Merage School of Business, dedicated to advancing and supporting the university, while simultaneously strengthening philanthropic efforts bridging the gap between the student body and the global business community.

Rouz is fluent in Persian (Farsi).

Experience

Represented Bonfire Ventures as the lead investor in the Seed-1 financing round of TeamSense, a text-based digital platform enhancing productivity and connection with hourly workers. Bonfire Ventures is an early stage venture focused on leading seed rounds for business software founders transforming the industries they target. 
Represented K1 Speed, the world's largest indoor go-kart racing operator, in its acquisition of Autobahn/Accelerate Indoor Speedway and its 11 national locations.
Stradling represented Final Fit Safety in connection with its acquisition by Protective Industrial Products Inc., a global leader in personal protective equipment, including hand protection, above-the-neck protection, workwear and footwear.  Final Fit Safety products was founded by Howard Leight, a pioneer for over 50 years in the development and manufacture of ear plug hearing protectors.  Its products include BioSoft and Pinch Fit ear plugs which are made from bio-based sustainable material.
