Rouzbeh (“Rouz”) Soleymani is an associate in Stradling’s Corporate and Securities practice group.

Rouz maintains an active general corporate practice, advising emerging companies throughout their lifecycle – from formation and early-stage equity and debt financings to liquidity events and exits. He regularly counsels founders, executive teams, and boards on governance, capitalization, and commercial structuring. His work spans a variety of venture-backed and sponsor-led strategic transactions. In addition to his company-side representation, Rouz advises a broad range of investors across the private markets, including private sponsors, real estate and credit managers, family offices, and institutional lenders and alternative asset managers. He has experience counseling borrowers, institutional lenders, and sponsors on secured and unsecured financings, in addition to fund formation, investor-side negotiations, and private investment structures across real estate, debt, and venture capital ecosystems.

Prior to Stradling, Rouz was an associate at PwC. At PwC, Rouz assisted with structuring strategic cross-border and multi-jurisdictional deals, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures as well as participated in domestic and international tax compliance projects for U.S. inbound and outbound transactions.

Rouz earned his J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where he served as an editor of the UCI Law Review. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance from UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business, graduating summa cum laude as a Regents Scholar. Rouz currently serves on the Executive Board of the Dean’s Leadership Circle at Merage, dedicated to advancing and supporting the university, while simultaneously strengthening philanthropic efforts bridging the gap between the student body and the global business community.

Rouz is fluent in Persian (Farsi).
