50 Acts of Giving to Celebrate 50 Years
50 Acts of Giving
As part of our 50th anniversary celebration, we’re proud to present our 50 Acts of Giving campaign — a year-long initiative dedicated to giving back to the community and supporting meaningful causes.
We’re well underway and have already begun participating in acts of service, support, and generosity. From volunteering and charitable donations to partnerships with purpose-driven organizations, each act reflects our ongoing commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
You can explore the acts we’ve completed so far below, and check back as we continue to build on this meaningful milestone throughout the year.

To kick off the campaign, our first act of giving was supporting the American Cancer Society’s Orange County Gala—a powerful event in the ongoing fight against cancer. The gala brings together community and business leaders in support of critical cancer research, patient services, and advocacy efforts that save lives and bring hope to families across Orange County and beyond.
A heartfelt thank you to Chris Ivey, Megan Gess, and Al Tierney for representing Stradling at the gala and helping launch our 50 Acts of Giving campaign with intention and impact.

We were proud to participate in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America Charity Cornhole Tournament —an event supporting mentorship programs that empower young people to reach their full potential.
A big thank you to our team members Marc Schneider, Doo Soo Kim, Jessica Chen, Evan Fradin, Chris Ivey, and Yasmine Kalhor for representing Stradling and supporting such an important cause.
Big Brothers Big Sisters helps young people build confidence, resilience, and the foundation to reach their full potential—and we’re honored to support their work as part of our 50 Acts of Giving campaign.

As part of our third act in the 50 Acts of Giving campaign, we were honored to support the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo’s 2025 Gala and Auction—an inspiring evening dedicated to empowering youth with the tools they need for a brighter future.
We’re especially proud that Stradling attorneys Jaye Heybl and Jill Heybl represented the firm at the event, helping us continue our commitment to service and community.

Stradling was proud to support the Hoag OC Marathon as the fourth organization featured in our 50 Acts of Giving campaign.
A special thank you to Lisa Latham, Gregory Maestri, Yasmine Kalhor, Isabel Gomez, Janet Struck, and Sandy Kue for volunteering at the water stations—bringing energy, encouragement, and smiles to runners along the course.
Hoag's commitment to building a healthier, stronger community is one we deeply admire, and we’re honored to play a small role in supporting that mission.

As part of our 50 Acts of Giving campaign, we were proud to support the Annual Robert E. Palmer Dinner and Program benefiting the Public Law Center—an organization dedicated to providing access to justice for individuals and families in need. Through free legal services, the PLC empowers communities and helps ensure that everyone, regardless of income, has a voice.
Thank you to Justin Owens, Wesley Horton, Morgan Williams, Mason Dees, Sean Lobb, Connor Kridle, and Evan Fradin for attending and showing their support for this important cause.

As our sixth act, Stradling was proud to support the District 2 Supervisorial Leadership & Excellence Awards, while contributing to Mountain Fire Relief efforts.
A heartfelt thank you to Alidad Damooei for stepping up to support community members affected by the devastating mountain fires. Our contribution to the Ventura County Community Foundation’s Mountain Fire Relief Fund helps provide critical support—shelter, supplies, and essential services—for evacuees and those beginning the long process of recovery. The fire has already burned over 20,000 acres, destroyed more than 240 structures, and displaced more than 10,000 residents, underscoring the urgent need for continued relief.
We’re honored to play a small part in supporting both local leadership and disaster response efforts in our community.

As part of our ongoing 50 Acts of Giving campaign, we partnered with the Federal Bar Association – Orange County Chapter Young Lawyers Division to support Project Hope Alliance, an organization dedicated to ending the cycle of youth homelessness in Orange County.
Together, we helped collect over $9,000 worth of essential supplies to support local students and families in need. We’re proud to collaborate with professionals who share our commitment to uplifting the community.
A special thank you to Sean Lobb, Madeleine Hoye, Yasmine Kalhor, and Jessica Chen for volunteering their time and energy to make this effort a success.

We were honored to participate in the Parkinson’s Foundation’s Moving Day — a meaningful fundraising walk that brings together a passionate community to honor loved ones living with Parkinson’s, raise awareness about the disease, and highlight the importance of exercise in managing its symptoms.
Together, the Stradling team helped raise over $5,200 in support of this important cause. We’re proud to support Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County’s Food From The Bar campaign, now running through June 30. This initiative helps provide access to nutritious food for individuals and families across our community. So far, we’ve raised $700 toward our $2,500 goal.
