Elan advises companies and investors on general corporate matters, commercial contracts, and mergers and acquisitions. Elan’s practice includes companies of all stages, from start-ups to established businesses.
Prior to joining Stradling, Elan was an attorney at Seed Mackall, LLP, a Santa Barbara firm, along with current Stradling Partner Tom Harding. Previous to that, Elan was an associate at the Chicago offices of Greenberg Traurig, LLP and Jackson Lewis, P.C.
Elan received his JD from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. While in law school, Elan was an associate editor of the Northwestern Journal of Law and Social Policy, where he authored an article arguing for a permissive regulatory environment for food trucks.
