Cindy Cruz is an associate in the firm’s Public Finance group. She focuses her practice on public finance matters, drawing on her background in tax law to support clients in complex transactions.
Prior to joining Stradling, Cindy worked at Andersen Tax LLC, where she assisted with commercial tax matters, including drafting IRS notices related to corporate reorganizations and preparing federal and state tax returns. During law school, she gained additional experience through roles with a Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic and Open Door Legal, where she conducted client intakes, prepared legal correspondence, and researched tax and public benefits issues.
Cindy earned her J.D., with a concentration in Tax Law, from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings). She is fluent in Spanish.
