Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth LLP is pleased to announce that effective April 15, 2026, Patricia L. Eichar, formerly of Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, has joined our firm as a partner in our Sacramento, California office.  “We are delighted that Trish has joined our firm as we continue to build out our Sacramento presence.  Trish is a fantastic lawyer, well respected in the community and will greatly assist us with respect to our valuable relationships with the State of California and in bolstering our local government financing practice,”  Brian Forbath, Partner.

Ms. Eichar brings extensive experience as bond, underwriter’s and disclosure counsel for state and local tax-exempt and taxable financings.  She has particular expertise representing state agencies undertaking large complex debt issuances for infrastructure.  She also has extensive experience representing local government, including cities, financing a wide range of local projects, including infrastructure financed by land secured debt obligations.  The addition of Ms. Eichar will bolster Stradling’s Sacramento presence, and is consistent with Stradling’s efforts in recent years to expand its public financing practice.  “Public Finance is changing and state and local agencies need specialized tools now more than ever.  I’m joining Stradling because their focus on California state and local government is unmatched.  This move allows me to build my state, local government and land secured practice and provide the high-touch service my clients expect,” Patricia Eichar.

Stradling remains committed to serving state and local government as bond and disclosure counsel for all their financings needs in an era when some law firms are facing pressures to forego a traditional public finance practice.  Stradling’s goal is to foster long term relationships with state and local government relating to public finance to best serve the public.
