Gill Champion and Bick Le Navigate Shareholder Class Action Arising Out of the Sale of POW! Entertainment

We represent Gill Champion and Bick Le in a putative shareholder class action arising from the acquisition of this public company. POW! Entertainment, Inc. is an American media production company formed in 2001 by Champion, Arthur Lieberman and former Marvel Comics creator and publisher Stan Lee. In 2017, shareholders overwhelmingly approved the sale of POW! Entertainment, Inc. to Camsing International Holding, a China-based entertainment company. The shareholders plaintiffs allege that Stan Lee, Champion, one of POW!'s two directors, and Bick Le, POW's Foreign Officer breached their fiduciary duties to POW! Entertainment’s shareholders, by allegedly engaging in a self-interest transaction with a buyer who would guarantee them post-close employment and other benefits (Delaware Court of Chancery).
