Large Retail Pharmacy Chain Negotiates Favorable Settlement in "Made in the USA" Enforcement Action

Negotiated a favorable settlement for a large retail pharmacy chain in response to an enforcement action brought by the California Attorney General involving alleged violations of Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17533.7 (Use of words “Made in U.S.A.” or similar words). The CA Attorney General alleged that the company was selling its private label aloe vera products in violation of California’s Made in the U.S.A. law.
