Public Global Retailer Settles Employment Class Actions
Resolved several class action matters involving multiple staffing agencies. This required aligning strategies and positioning the staffing agencies to carry a larger percentage of the liability for wage and hour violations. In one matter we successfully wrapped two class actions into one and negotiated a settlement in which the staffing agencies paid over 66% of the settlement amount. This settlement also resulted in undercutting several additional class actions filed thereafter without any additional fees to the client.
